We
are pleased to welcome nonprofit organizations to our vendor mix at the
Lexington
Farmers’
Market. If you are able to demonstrate your 501(c)(3) status, we would
love to have you be a part of our program. Please note the following
guidelines: |
|
*1.
Nonprofit
organizations' attendance depends upon demand for space throughout the
season. For now, please give
us two dates and let us know if you would like more dates. Please
indicate your preferred dates on the application. |
|
2.
Three nonprofit organizations will be invited to participate each week
under a 10x10 canopy. |
|
3.
A non-profit section of the market will be reserved each week
next to the Market Manager's tent. Please
check in with the market manager when you arrive.
|
|
4.
We
provide the canopy. You must bring all other necessary materials,
including a table and chair, posters, and any information you wish to
share with the public. |
|
5.
Parking
can be tricky. You can park in the lot behind the market or on the grass
in front of the (old) School Administration building. |
|
6.
You
should arrive each week around
1:30pm
to
set up. The Market hours are
2
to
6:30
pm
or
dusk whichever comes first). |
|
*7.
Please
send a copy of your 501(c)(3) designation |
|
8.
We
ask that you advertise the
Lexington
Farmers'
Market on your web site or in publications where possible. |
|
9.
Non-profit
organizations are asked to make a contribution to Lexington Farmers'
Market for their space at the Market. All collected fees contribute to
market operations and marketing efforts. |
|
10.
The
Market is open rain or shine. |
|
11.
The
Lexington
Farmers'
Market is not liable for any
injury, theft, or damage to either the buyer or seller, or their
property, arising from or pertaining to preparation for or participation
in the
Lexington
Farmers’
Market. Regardless of whether such injury, theft, or damage occurred
prior, during, or after the Lexington Farmers’ Market, sellers further
agree to indemnify and hold the Lexington Farmers' Market harmless for
and against any claims for such injury, theft, or damage. |
|
12.
The
Lexington
Farmers'

participation is critical to all of our events. We will try to
accommodate your needs and requests to the best of our ability. |
