The mission of Communities without Borders is to establish and nourish
mutual understanding and support
between local communities in developed countries with local communities
in developing countries. This is accomplished by identifying common
interests and objectives between specific pairs of communities in
developed and developing countries and supporting the long-term growth
of this relationship. Their current primary focus is centered around

Haiti Projects
A representative from Haiti Projects will be on hand selling beautiful embroidered linens: napkins, pillowcases, tablecoths, nightgowns,etc: all handmade of 100% linen and embroidered by the women of the "Cooperative d'Artisanat" in Haiti. 100% of the proceeds is returned to these women so they may earn their living.At the Market: July 15

The Lexington Arts and Crafts Society was founded in 1935 when a group of artists and craftspersons met and drew up a constitution with the objective "to foster in the community a more active interest in the arts and crafts and to encourage higher artistic standards in the arts and handicrafts".Lexington Green Ways
A non-profit organization devoted to the connected greenspace of Lexington, MA and to the people who visit and care for it. At the Market, Lexington Greenways will be supporting Friends of the Lexington Bikeways on Bike to the Market Days, the Lexington Tree Committee on July 8, and the Lexington Global Warming Action Coalition throughout the season.At the Market: throughout the season

Project Have Hope works with a group of 100 women in the Acholi Quarter
of Uganda and helps them transform their lives and the lives of their
families. Through the sale of their beautiful, handmade paper bead
jewelry, the women can feed their families, send their children to
