COMMUNITIES UNITED INC.(CUI) operates three Head Start programs serving Lexington and surrounding towns, giving preschool children and families an opportunity to experience growth in an environment that encourages participation in a full range of developmentally appropriate activities. They strive to increase the ability of children and families to cope with and initiate change in their lives, working to meet the needs of a culturally and economically diverse community while building upon the gains made through their experiences.
