LFM Board of Directors and Staff

The Lexington Farmers’ Market is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors from the Lexington community; the Market Manager runs the daily operation of the LFM and works closely with the board. The Lexington Farmers’ Market is a 501(c)4 nonprofit organization registered in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Leslie Wilcott-Henrie

President

Leslie Wilcott-Henrie spearheaded the LFM’s formation as a nonprofit organization in 2016, and has served as Board President since then. Her interest in seasonal, local food started at an early age, growing into a passion for cooking and focus on the growth and challenges facing the local food movement. She has been a market volunteer since 2006, initially joining the LFM to share news through writing and photography. Leslie’s work with the LFM focuses on food, farming and food justice, and she continues to share the good news about farmers’ markets in every medium possible.

Adrian Leone

Artisan Coordinator

Adrian Leone has been an enthusiastic volunteer for the Lexington Farmers’ Market since 2007. She has been part of the Artisans’ Tent committee since its inception, seeking out local artisans and managing their participation at the market. Since childhood, Adrian has been interested in food, where it comes from and cooking. She is now a passionate supporter of the local food movement. She joined the board of the Lexington Farmers’ Market in 2016.

Linda Arnow

Board Of Health Liaison

Linda has been the LFM Public Health Liaison since 2007. Having grown up and then chosen to raise her own family in Lexington, Linda greatly values the sense of community found here. She credits her mother as saying “a colorful plate is a healthy meal” and she is grateful that her parents were able to provide healthy meals on a limited budget. Linda is firmly committed to the LFM mission of providing access for all community members, regardless of income level, to fresh and locally grown and produced food.

Geoff Keith

Entertainment Coordinator

Geoff Keith began volunteering with the Lexington Farmers’ Market in 2013 and joined the board in 2016. Prior to that he was a consultant in the field of energy and environment. His passion for the environment and local food was born running around in the woods as a kid and later teaching outdoor skills on backpacking courses in the Rockies and Alaska. You will see him on many market days helping make it all happen.

Meghan Powers

Market Manager

Meghan (they/them) has been growing, eating, and sharing local food in the Boston area since 2018. A trained agricultural engineer, they have worked for several sustainable agriculture startups, been an incubator farmer at New Entry Sustainable Food Project, and are currently co-owner of a small flower and herb farm called Storyteller Farm. Meghan loves all things veggies, baking, and sustainable farming, and is always happy to chat with farmers and customers! They are proud to manage such a vibrant market community and truly believe that locally grown food is the solution to many of our modern problems. Come say hi at the Market Manager’s tent on market day!
